Carina Floyd completed an undergraduate in Medical Science (UNSW), majoring in Human Anatomy due to her keen interest in human function and movement.
She went on to complete her Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney (USYD).
Growing up in Bathurst, there wasn’t a lot to do except play sport which resulted in countless hours spent around sporting fields or at the physio. This sparked a passion for the profession. Playing netball at a representative level throughout her adolescent years, Carina developed a particular interest in sports-related injuries. Carina has extensive experience as a sports trainer working with the UNSW Eastern Suburbs Bulldogs AFL club and most recently Barcelona Football Academy at their Sydney camp. Carina will be looking after both the Northern Suburbs Netball Association (NSNA) and the North Shore United (NSU) premier league netball team in 2023.
Outside of the clinic, Carina enjoys hanging out with friends, good coffee, playing AFL and is probably far too enthusiastic about her social netball and hockey teams.
