Brian Kim is a physiotherapist and researcher with a mix of private practice, sport and research experience.
During his undergraduate studies, he was awarded Monash University’s top physiotherapy award for two consecutive years. In addition to his clinical work, Brian maintains a role as a research assistant at one of the world’s top hamstring injury labs (SPRINT Research Centre) and is pursuing a PhD at The University of Sydney, exploring how muscle quality of the shoulder adapts after surgery.
Brian has a special interest in improving the interpretation of muscle features on MRI and aims to better the communication of imaging between people and their health professionals.
Brian has a background in the performing arts, having been both a youth actor and a theatre producer in recent times.
As for staying active, distance running and being a casual tennis player keeps him busy.
