Claire Rees is an APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist and a senior Physiotherapist within the clinic.

She graduated from the University of Sydney physiotherapy program in 2010 and has been working in the field of sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy ever since. In 2017 Claire completed her Masters of Sports Physiotherapy through La Trobe University and is now an APA Titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist.

Claire has had extensive experience in the world of sports physio and has worked with international and national level athletes from many sports. Recently she worked as the Head Physiotherapist for the Giants AFLW and Giants Netball program. Previously having worked within Rowing Australia programs, Netball NSW, Cricket NSW, school rowing programs and local sporting associations.

She has a great interest in not only returning athletes as quickly as possible to sport, but also in injury prevention. Claire is passionate about sports physiotherapy and has developed a reputation as a caring, hard working and knowledgeable therapist who will go above and beyond to help her patients reach their goals.


Who we are

Mater Clinic Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic is a multidisciplinary practice including Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Massage Therapists, and Dieticians. We work closely with other healthcare practitioners in the community such as General Practitioners, Sports Physicians, and Orthopaedic Consultants.
